University of Chicago Trust, Board Member-International House Association

Aditi Mody serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago Trust in India and the Board of the International House Association, contributing to initiatives that advance higher education, international collaboration, and cross-cultural engagement.

She is the former Executive Director of the University of Chicago Trust in India, where she provided strategic and administrative leadership to advance the University's research, education, and engagement across India, with a particular focus on multi-sector partnerships, public policy, and programme implementation.

Prior to this, Aditi was the Executive Director of the University of Chicago Center in India Private Limited, working closely with the University's academic and administrative leadership to expand institutional partnerships, strengthen academic collaborations, and develop programmes that fostered research, education, and policy engagement across India and South Asia.

Earlier in her career, Aditi was the Founder and Country Director for India of the U.S.–India Business Council (USIBC) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (2006–2011). She established USIBC's India office and played a pivotal role in strengthening the commercial and strategic partnership between the United States and India. In this capacity, she led policy advocacy initiatives for a diverse membership of leading global companies, facilitating high-level engagement with government, industry, and civil society through research, dialogue, and collaborative policy initiatives.

Beyond her executive leadership roles, Aditi serves on the boards of several nonprofit and cultural organisations, including Technology for Equity and Justice (TEJ), which advances technology education and coding fellowships for students from underserved communities, and the Habiart Foundation, dedicated to promoting contemporary Indian art and cultural exchange.

Her previous governance and advisory appointments include the Women's Leadership Board of the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard Kennedy School, the Institute of International Education (IIE) Cargill Global Scholars Selection Committee (2021–2022), and the National Screening Committee for the Fulbright–Nehru CII Fellowship for Leadership in Management (2010–2011).

Aditi holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
